Krabi ~ Gömda strand-pärlor i Thailand

Krabi ~ Hidden beach gems in Thailand

I have been to Thailand both by myself and with friends and family. It's a fond reunion every time 😊 But as with everything else, tourism has increased so now it's about finding your own gems.

We have done that and we always go out with a longtail boat in Krabi's waters. Here there are many different islands and quite a few are now nature reserves, the bay entails a park fee but in return the beautiful beaches and the animals that live there are now taken care of.

We love visiting new places in the area and you can always find your unique place. We are most comfortable at the back of Koh Poda which has a bay that hides a little further in. Here there is both sun and shade, so it suits both children and adults. We have snorkeled many times and seen everything from a large octopus to small clownfish 🐙

Ao nang is the beach that we usually start from when we explore the island world outside. Here there is life and many people, good shopping and nice restaurants Especially good are the restaurants that are usually along the street with plastic chairs on them. But absolutely one of our favorites is; Sukhotai restaurant Ao Nang soi 9 where you can get an incomparably good Massaman and even attend a cooking school 🇹🇭 In addition, you can get a pick-up from the restaurant if you want to go there and eat, call +66 818462981

Alice Rydberg is one of our beach heroes that we have collaborated with over the past year.

She has both worked and visited beautiful Thailand for the past 20 years and has extensive experience of where to go to find nice beaches and restaurants.

Alice shares so wonderfully on Instagram about travel, interior design, garden and family life. If you want to know more about Alice and her adventures, you can find her on instagram @svedalasvita
