Privacy policy

We process all personal data that you provide in accordance with the EU
data protection regulation. You can read more about our data protection policy below.

Data protection
Beachkind cares about your personal privacy. We never collect more information than we need to be able to give you a satisfactory experience as a visitor and customer on our platforms. And we never sell this data to any other company.

This page contains information about why and how we handle your personal data.

Why do you collect personal data?
Simply put, there are two main purposes: Firstly, we need information to be able to manage and send you an order in our webshop. That is, the contact information and order data you created yourself when making a purchase. On the one hand, our digital platforms use data to be able to give you a better and more relevant user experience - as well as to be able to reach you with marketing.

In addition to these two main purposes, personal data may be processed in recruitment matters, commercial matters or other matters where information about a person in any way relates to Beachkind.

What data do you collect?
In connection with orders in the web shop: Name, telephone number, address, e-mail and order data. We never collect social security numbers and account details (on the other hand, the payment providers we cooperate with may request such data, but it is not shared with us at Beachkind).
In connection with visits to our digital platforms: Our website beachkind.se uses cookies and our marketing tools, for example Facebook and Google, use different types of technologies to help us reach our customers and intended customers. In all these cases, the data is anonymized and we at Beachkind have no opportunity or desire to follow the behavior of individuals.
Finally, your email address is used for sending advertising and to offer you interesting content.

How is the data stored?
Order and customer data are stored in the systems used to run our webshop: the business system, the order system in the webshop, the payment service's system and the shipping provider's system.
The anonymized data connected to our market tools is saved for different lengths of time depending on which policy or platform is used. We at Beachkind do not save that data and we can never see it on an individual level.
Your email address is also saved in Mailchimp, an international system for marketing via email.

How is the data used?
Your order data is primarily used for accounting purposes. But our order history is also something you can use yourself. It is fine to contact us to find out what you have previously purchased (see contact information below).
The anonymous data processed by our digital platforms is used to provide you with a more relevant visitor experience and to be able to reach you for marketing purposes.
With regard to e-mail, Beachkind reserves the right to send advertisements unless you have indicated that you do not want them. Each mailing includes the option to unsubscribe from further communications.

How secure is my data?
The website beachkind.se including the e-commerce part is operated from servers based in Sweden. These have backup. The same applies to our business system. The people who have access to the data are employees of Beachkind, the supplier of our business system, shipping suppliers and the supplier of our web platform.
We only use payment services and shipping providers based in Sweden.
International market tools such as Facebook and Google can save data in servers located outside Sweden's borders.

How do I access my data?
Send an email to hello@beachkind.se and we will tell you what information we have saved about you. You can then – once we have secured your identity – ask us to supplement or delete the data.
