Beachkind Natural Sunscreen is a natural sunscreen that protects your skin against the harmful effects of UV radiation with a mineral filter based on zinc oxide without naon particles. Our Zinc Oxide is called "Invisible Zinc", which means you don't get a white film from the sunscreen. On well-pigmented skin, the white zinc oxide particles might be slightly seen. The sunscreen is suitable for all skin types, escpecially the sensitive and allergy-prone skin.
The sunscreen is full of natural mild oils, butters and waxes, which makes the sunscreen both easy to apply and moisturizing. Among other things, we use raspberry seed oil, safflower oil, jojoba oil and glasswort extract, which has the ability to increase moisture in the skin. We have also chosen to use dry coconut oil as a base, which has a low comedogenic index to avoid clogging the pores. This is so that you can also use the sunscreen on your face.. The sunscreen is dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive and allergy prone skin, and in addition contains no perfume.
Beachkind's sunscreen also lives up to the requirements set to be classified as a so-called "Reef Safe" / “Reef Friendly” sunscreen. Free from ingredients such as Oxybenzone/Benzophone-3, Octinoxate, Avobenzone and Octocrylene which are prohibited in sunscreens in for e.g. Hawaii and in marine reserves on several places in the world, but also microplastics and nanoparticles. In addition, the formula is water resistant so that as little sunscreen as possible ends up in the water.
Application
In general, 2 mg/cm2 of skin should be used. General recommendation for an application to the whole body for an adult is 30-50 ml, or a handful. General application on the face for an adult is 10-15 ml, or about a tablespoon.
Application adults: Shake the sunscreen. For best results, we recommend that you first take small dabs of the cream on the skin. Then spread without them with circular movements to a thin, even and almost invisible layer on the skin. Apply plenty of sunscreen before sun exposure. Reapply every two hours or after sweating and bathing/drying. Avoid contact with eyes. Remember that the sun is drying, make sure to wash off the sunscreen and moisturize the skin in the evening with an After Sun or skin lotion.
Application children: Shake the sunscreen. For best results, we recommend that you first take small dabs of the cream on the skin. Then spread without them with circular movements to a thin, even and almost invisible layer on the skin. Apply plenty of sunscreen before your child goes out in the sun. And don't forget that you also need to apply sunscreen in the shade. Apply the sunscreen every two hours to the body and face for optimal protection. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep babies and young children out of the sun during the hottest hours of the day. Remember to apply sunscreen to the lips, ears, toes and the tip of the nose as these areas are easily forgotten! Remember that the sun is drying, make sure to shower off the sunscreen and moisturize the children's skin in the evening with an After Sun or skin lotion.
Other useful information
The sunscreen is dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive skin, and addition contains no perfume. Our products contain proven ingredients that are known not to cause allergic reactions. However, in the unlikely event that you experience an allergic reaction to the product, stop using the product immediately.
The packaging is made of recyclable plastic and we encourage you to recycle your packaging when the sunscreen has run out.
The formula is developed by us in Sweden and manufactured at a GMP and eco-certified facility within the EU.

Fragrance-free sunscreen that does what it's supposed to! I prefer the one with fragrance - as the bottle with the pump makes it easier to get a smaller amount out. As with most sunscreens, a "film" forms on the skin, this particular product gives a little more than other creams but is incredibly pleasant on the skin and really moisturizing. Perfect to wear on the body!
So good and also completely natural!
My partner and I just got back from a sun trip to Rhodes with temperatures of 33-37 degrees. We smeared ourselves every morning from head to toe with this sunscreen and reapplyed it during the day and neither of us got burned despite the very hot sun and warning of a high UV index. This doesn't turn you white, which is a big plus! However, it does make you a little shiny, but that's better than getting burned. Shine on the face can be dulled with a cotton pad.
The cream makes my face white and shiny.
Hi Ann-Marie! Thank you for your feedback! How sad that you don't think the product lives up to your expectations. We all have different skin types and preferences. We would like to advise you to take a little sunscreen at a time and apply it to your face and to apply it for a long time until the white zinc oxide has penetrated the skin. Another tip - which some customers have also told us - is to first prime with facial toner and face cream. Then wait 10 minutes and apply the sunscreen. You can also try taking some paper and dabbing away excess oil from your skin. Regardless, we hope that you will be able to use the sunscreen on the rest of your body this summer.
