Beachkind Natural Sunscreen Kids is a natural sunscreen that protects your child's skin against the harmful effects of UV radiation with a mineral filter based on non-nano zinc oxide. Our Zinc Oxide is so-called "Invisible Zinc" which means that you don't get a white film from the sunscreen. The sunscreen is easy to apply, suitable for children's sensitive skin and contains moisturizing and softening oils from jojoba, sunflower, coconut and mango, as well as caring calendula extract.  

Beachkind's sunscreen also meets the requirements to be classified as a so-called "Reef Friendly" sunscreen - free from ingredients such as Oxybenzone/Benzophone-3, Octinoxate, Avobenzone and Octocrylene which are banned in sunscreens in places like Hawaii and in marine reserves in several places around the world, but also microplastics and nanoparticles. In addition, the formula is water-resistant so that as little sunscreen as possible ends up in the water.

Application

Generally, 2 mg/cm2 of skin should be used. General recommendation for a full body application for an adult is 30-50 ml, or a handful. General application to the face and neck/décolleté for an adult is 5 ml, or about a teaspoon.  

Application for children : Shake the sunscreen. For best results, we recommend that you first apply small dabs of the cream to the skin. Then spread them in circular motions to a thin, even and almost invisible layer on the skin. Apply plenty of sunscreen before your child goes out in the sun. For children, a full child's hand (about 20 ml) is a good measure to start with for the entire body. And don't forget that you also need to apply sunscreen in the shade. Apply sunscreen every two hours to the body and face for optimal protection. Avoid contact with the eyes. Keep babies and small children out of the sun during the hottest hours of the day between 11 am and 3 pm. Remember to apply sunscreen to the lips, ears, toes and tip of the nose as these areas are easily forgotten! Strong sun dries out, make sure to shower off the sunscreen and moisturize children's skin in the evening with an After Sun or skin lotion.

Dermatologically tested, fragrance-free and gentle on sensitive skin. Contains proven ingredients that minimize the risk of allergic reactions. Test on the inside of the arm for 24 hours to ensure tolerance. If a reaction occurs, discontinue use.
